A warm welcome to Intando Yethu.
We are a Non-Profit Organization which was constitutionalized and registered in 2021 and it is based in Alexander Township, Gauteng.
Our story began when we saw the need to provide a safe and a constructive alternative to the challenges posed by our neighbourhood’s streets to the children, by offering them traditional dance classes.
Furthermore, we ensure they receive nourishing, homecooked meals, a significant benefit given that many of these children come from disadvantaged households.
In addition, we extend our support by delivering nutritious, home-cooked meals to elderly members of our community.

Our overarching mission is to combat poverty through sustainable means, with a particular focus on helping the less privileged members of our society, especially young children from underprivileged backgrounds and elderly individuals.
Intando Yethu holds "Amatshitshi" dances on a timely basis and are available for an invitation to entertain the guests on your wedding or any other traditional ceremonies.
Our girls also undergo the traditional Zulu ritual called "Ukuhlolwa Kwezintombi" - tested to ensure that they are still virgins.
